Garth’s Pond
In 2022 Pond Works built a stunning Aquascape System pond for their customer, Garth in Burpengary East, transforming his backyard deck into a serene family retreat. Over time, the pond has matured beautifully, and Greg Wittstock “The Pond Guy” visited the property to see it in action and share his thoughts on its design, functionality and charm.

A Pond That Brings the Family Together
Garth wanted a pond that would be the focal point of his backyard. He wanted a space that could be enjoyed by his family, entertain friends and delight children. There was an old pre-existing cubby house that had been preserved for the next generation of children which becomes a destination, giving kids a reason to explore the pond and step across the stepping stones discovering the space as they go.

Our role was to build the pond and waterfall itself ensuring it was functional, beautiful and low maintenance. The gardens and surrounds are a result of Garth’s ongoing care and creativity.
Greg Wittstock Visits the Burpengary East Pond
Greg Wittstock’s visit showcased how beautifully the pond has matured in only one year. He explored the stepping stones, admired the thriving goldfish, and noted how the pond interacts seamlessly with the deck and surrounding gardens.
